Rwanda Yejo

A direct path from a need to someone ready to help.

People facing a health insurance contribution can ask a district representative for help. After review, supporters see an approved case number and the amount needed, while identity details stay private.

Cases

People you can help

Only cases approved by the Rwanda Yejo team appear here. Support will open when MTN MoMo and Visa payment routes are connected without exposing beneficiary IDs.

No live cases have been published. Explore these fictional examples to see how choosing a case would work. Names, locations, amounts and progress are made up.

How it works

Local knowledge, global generosity

01

A person asks for help

A household explains the gap in its health insurance contribution to an authorized local representative.

02

A team member reviews the case

Identity is verified outside this site. A public case is approved only after the need and amount are checked.

03

Supporters choose a case

A donor chooses a case and the number of people to cover. Supporters could choose MTN MoMo or Visa. An authorized payment route would use the beneficiary ID privately.

The story

Why I started Rwanda Yejo

“Growing up in Rwanda, I saw people waiting outside clinics, some unable to afford care. My family could afford healthcare, but I knew many others could not. I never forgot those moments.”

I believe that if you have the ability to help, even in a small way, you should. Rwanda Yejo is an effort to give that belief a practical form, connecting verified needs with people willing to contribute.

Privacy and trust

A case number in public. Identity kept private.

This site stores anonymous case summaries and never asks for a national ID. Verification happens through an authorized process outside the site. A future MoMo connection would need to use beneficiary details privately without exposing them to donors.
